John le Carre, World Book Night 2011 Launch, Trafalgar Square, March 4th.
Wow, I was a bit sceptical about going to the launch at first but none the less I went! It was two hours stood in the cold, but it was more the worth it. The stellar cast blew everyone away and the time flew by (also I gained 5 books, a tshirt and numerous smoothies from the event ;D )
all in all it was amazing, simply and utterly amazing!

I want to go to Hagley RC but she wants a list of pros and cons for both Hagley RC and King Eds…
So here I go:
Hagley RC Pros against King Eds:
- Better Atmosphere
- Small sized classes (more individual tutoring)
- Treated as a person not as a number
- Nicer teachers
- Less “WHU DA FUQ” when I told them I want to do Arabic and Middle Eastern Studies at Uni…
- I’d be one of the creme de la creme at Hagley RC whereas I’d just be average at King Eds
- The head of Sixth form remembered my name between the two open days, I’m seemingly unknown at King Eds
- I get away from the cunts that I know if I go to Hagley RC…
Hagley RC negatives against King Eds:
- Its a train ride away (unlike King Eds which is 2 minutes down the road)
- Its not one of the best colleges in the country (unlike King Eds)

I watched the documentary about the children living on the West Bank and the horrors they’ve been through again and it made me realise I should be more than happy with my life!

Earlier I decided happiness was going to be the way forwards and it all worked until I tore a ligament in my shoulder; that was the final straw.
I miss her so much, and when my mum said “what do you want me to get to make your shoulder all better?!” (meaning a magazine, or chocolate) I just couldnt hold the tears in,
Now I’m sat here in pain from my shoulder and in pain from the emptiness i feel in my heart, my family are annoyed with me because i’ve shouted at them all and I’m not gonna be able to play american football this season!
i wish i could just get away from everything for a week or two, everything i love seems to be fucking up at the moment.
my word of the day failed.
